Participate in a 120-hour state-approved training program consisting of classroom instruction and clinical experience. Provide care for residents in an acute care facility to help them maintain their highest functional abilities.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old and pass competency tests in English, reading, and math. A criminal background check, drug screen, and basic computer proficiency are also required.
The Training Program consists of classroom instruction and clinical experience. Upon completion of the Program the facility will work to help place candidates in full-time or part-time positions. CNA Training Class Eligibility Requirements Must Be 16 years old or older. Successfully pass the English, Reading and Math Competency Test. Must Pass Criminal Background and Drug Screen. A passion for caring for people. Personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and other personnel. The ability to be discrete and protect the integrity of confidential information and stay within Corporate Compliance and HIPAA. Knowledge on the use of personal computers, Word and Excel, and working with office machines such as fax and copying machines.
