This position is part-time (28-29 hrs/wk) and primarily campus-based in a professional academic office environment. The role follows a standard business schedule, with occasional flexibility required to support meetings, events, or accreditation activities.
The Administrative Assistant supports the Doctor of Optometry Program under the direction of the Dean. This role manages a diverse workload, requiring strong organizational skills, self-direction, and proficiency with modern office technology. The position serves as a key liaison between the Dean’s office, faculty, students, and external stakeholders.
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, effectively manage multiple priorities, build productive partnerships with faculty and staff, and ensure accurate and timely completion of administrative and compliance responsibilities.
