The HR Generalist administers policies across all HR activities, including compliance, benefit reconciliation, and leave administration. They also manage ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims while assisting with workplace investigations.
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required along with at least three years of relevant HR experience. Proficiency in MS Office is necessary, and experience with Workday and large-company environments is preferred.

The Human Resources Generalist administers policies relating to all aspects of Human Resources activity. Essential
Provides guidance to the Human Resources Department Ensures compliance with laws and regulations Provides information, solves problems, or otherwise responds to requests from managers and employees. Reconciles monthly benefit bills Administers and tracks leaves of absence (FMLA, ADA, personal leaves) Oversees and administers the end-to-end ADA accommodation process to include conducting the interactive process with employees and managers Manages /processes workers' compensation claims including maintaining OSHA log Manages/processes short term and long term disability claims Assists with workplace investigations May assist with exit procedures for separating employees Manages all unemployment claims Participates in department staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as necessary and to represent the department. Other Responsibilities: Adheres to the policies and procedures of Full Sail University Maintains strict confidentiality of company and personnel information Demonstrates a strong commitment to the mission and values of the organization Adheres to company attendance standards Performs other duties as assigned Competencies: Project management skills Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills Creative and innovative writing ability, including proofreading and editing for grammar and punctuation Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented Ability to multi-task and work independently Ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast paced environment Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline from four-year college or university required Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience in Human Resources Prior experience with FMLA, ADA and workers' compensation is preferred Experience in a company with 1000+ employees strongly preferred Experience with Workday is a plus Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: N/A Computer Skills: Proficiency using software programs such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Environmental Factors/Physical Demands: Work is performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone.
