Manage a caseload of clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help them achieve meaningful employment. Provide on-site training, support, and evaluation while documenting progress through detailed service notes.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and prefers one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities or as a Direct Support Professional. Candidates must be flexible with their schedule, including weekends and early mornings.

AHRC NYC is seeking a passionate Job Coach to join our Employment Services Program, dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving meaningful employment. The Job Coach is the central figure in the success of our workers, providing training, evaluation, and counseling across a wide variety of jobs at independent businesses and through contracts AHRC holds with various entities.
One year experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. Flexibility in work hours and ability to respond to the scheduling needs of the individual. May include early morning, evening and/or weekend hours. Direct Support Professional (DSP) experience preferred Understanding of Person Centered Planning. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including effective writing and oral communication skills. High school diploma or GED.
