About the role

The Inclusion Aide supports students with disabilities in early childhood classrooms by addressing safety and personal care needs. They help maintain developmentally appropriate environments and execute individualized student plans using the Conscious Discipline curriculum.

The Inclusion Aide is responsible for assisting students who have disabilities or special needs with addressing safety, personal care, and other daily needs to ensure effective inclusion in classroom learning and activities. As the Inclusion Aide, you will help to maintain classroom environments that are developmentally appropriate and meet the needs of individual students, assist with executing individualized students plans, and provide Conscious Discipline curriculum support.

Candidate qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 6 college credit hours in Early Childhood Development required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children with disabilities preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license, insurance and a reliable vehicle preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Job details

Compensation:

Hourly: Range is between $16.99-$19.50 per hour, offers are commensurate with experience and bilingual candidates may receive additional compensation. The salary range provided represents our current estimate for this role at the time of posting and is subject to change. The final salary will be determined based on a range of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's relevant experience, education, qualifications, skills, certifications, and alignment with organizational needs. Requirements
