Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, play-based learning, media, etc.) Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with NC Foundations Observe and assess each child’s development and adjust instruction accordingly Foster children’s social, emotional, and academic growth Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment Supervise children at all times in accordance with licensing standards Collaborate with other educators and leadership Maintain a clean and compliant classroom consistent with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with families regarding child progress and needs Support and guide Assistant Teachers in daily classroom execution
