The Learning Experience is seeking a caring, dependable, and experienced Lead Infant Teacher to join our growing team.

As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will play a critical role in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where infants thrive and families feel supported.

Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants
  • Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Implement age-appropriate learning experiences through play, music, language, and sensory activities
  • Follow individualized feeding, sleeping, and diapering schedules
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and classroom documentation
  • Build strong partnerships with families through daily communication and updates
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to maintain a high-quality classroom environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of professional childcare experience required
  • Experience working with infants strongly preferred
  • CDA, Associate Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lift, carry, and actively engage with infants throughout the day
  • Passion for creating meaningful early learning experiences
