The ideal candidate is a passionate educator with a strong background in History and a commitment to helping students grow. This full-time position includes teaching high school history, which can include US History, Government and Economics, as well as elective courses. A successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for differentiating instruction, engaging students and fostering a collaborative, student-centered classroom environment. In addition, candidates should be eager to work with colleagues to design and implement evidence-based instructional practices, provide individualized academic and mentoring support, and contribute to the broader school community through advisory, extracurricular involvement, and/or committee work. Qualifications Bachelor’s or advanced degree in History, Education, or a related field. Preference given to candidates with prior teaching experience, particularly at the high school level. Preference given to candidates with experience supporting students with learning differences. Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with classroom technology.
