  • Schedule: PRN, 8am-430pm, Monday/Wednesday/Friday, will cover for PTO and vacations What You Will Do Drive improved glycemic control by delivering nurse-led education that significantly lowers HbA1c levels and reduces long-term diabetes complications. Equip patients with essential survival skills and effective discharge planning, leading to lower hospital readmission rates. Empower individuals to manage their diabetes confidently through tailored education on diet, lifestyle, and medication adherence. Enhance patient engagement and outcomes by providing hands-on training with advanced diabetes technologies such as CGMs and insulin delivery systems.

  • Registration: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certified Educator specializing in Diabetes Management preferred.

Education

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Requirements

Requires a Registered Nurse license from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and a diploma from an accredited nursing school. Certification in Diabetes Management and BLS/ALS certifications are preferred.
