The resident will provide pastoral care, spiritual support, and crisis intervention to patients, families, and staff. They will also participate in the Clinical Pastoral Education curriculum and document all interventions according to organizational standards.

  • Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift How you'll make an impact in this role Assist in providing pastoral care to patients, their family members and organizational staff. Perform or assist with performing pastoral visitation, public worship services and outreach services in assigned areas or to specific faith groups. Assist with assessing and responding to the spiritual and emotional needs of those counseled, including crisis intervention and bereavement. Participate in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) curriculum and demonstrate a commitment to learning about the ministry of pastoral care, about oneself as a minister and the ways in which one's ministry affects those served. Document visits and interventions appropriately according to the standards of the healthcare organization. What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in a Theology, Spirituality or related field preferred. 1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE is preferred. Ordination or equivalency in faith group is preferred.
