JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Penn State Altoona invites applications for a part-time instructor position with expertise in Special Education. Candidates for the position must hold a minimum of a master’s degree. Experience in PreK-12 classrooms is preferred. Classes will be offered in-person.
  • Teaching opportunities include: Special education law Assessment in inclusive settings Applied behavior Analysis Evidence-based methods for instruction in reading, mathematics, and writing Additional opportunities could include courses in trauma-based pedagogy and autism, as well as other content that fit within the needs of the Elementary and Early Childhood Education program. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until all positions are filled. Part-time teaching is for the 2026-2027 academic year.
