The instructor is responsible for teaching First Aid, CPR, and AED training classes to employees, affiliates, and the community. Duties include managing class curriculum, tracking attendance, and maintaining a safe, sanitized environment.
Candidates must be enrolled students at the University of North Dakota with a current American Heart Association Instructor certification or a willingness to obtain one. Strong communication skills and the ability to train large groups are required.
The CPR and First Aid Instructor will be responsible for teaching First Aid/CPR/AED training classes for Health and Wellness employees, UND affiliates, and the greater Grand Forks community.
This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
• Current or previous experience instructing American Heart Association certification courses.
