A bachelor’s degree is required Successful applicants must hold and provide evidence of an appropriate Rhode Island teacher certification by their date of hire. Rhode Island offers reciprocity with over 30 states across the country. A minimum of two years teaching experience in a diverse public school setting preferred, but not required As required for your role, you are required to demonstrate proficiency or awareness in the knowledge and practices of the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy through the completion of a RIDE approved program or Rhode Island educator preparation program.
