The substitute teacher is responsible for following lesson plans to teach and supervise classes when regular teachers are absent. They must maintain high standards of student conduct and communicate progress and challenges back to the permanent teachers.

You will be able to work at both our school campus in Brighton and/or our Home School Enrichment program in Dacano. Essential Functions: Follow lesson plans to teach and supervise classes as needed on a daily basis Respond promptly to teacher's requests for a substitute teacher Communicate with teachers by leaving notes for them on the day's events, progress, or challenges, including substitute teacher binders and lesson plan needs Build positive relationships with students by holding them to high standards of conduct Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information Maintain collegial, professional relationships with colleagues and staff Complete all required training and provide documentation Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance by adhering to assigned work hours, reporting on time, and following proper procedures for absences or tardiness to ensure minimal disruption to students, colleagues, and school operations Demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English to effectively perform their job responsibilities and communicate in the workplace Perform other duties as assigned
