The University of Mary Washington is seeking a Nursing faculty member who holds a terminal degree (PhD, EdD, or DNP) and maintains national certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP). The ideal candidate will bring substantial Nurse Practitioner (NP) clinical experience, possess doctoral-level preparation, a current national certification, and a genuine commitment to student success and the advancement of graduate nursing education.
• Minimum 3 years NP clinical practice
• Doctoral degree in Nursing (DNP, EdD or PhD) from an accredited institution
• Active, unencumbered RN and APRN license; current national NP certification (AANP or ANCC) in specialty area
