Market context
In North Carolina, after-school program assistant roles are commonly sought by schools and youth-serving programs that need dependable support during afternoon hours. These positions are competitive because employers often look for prior experience with children, and an associate’s or bachelor’s degree can strengthen an application even when it is not required.
