Description Edison State Community College invites qualified candidates to apply for the temporary/part-time position of Instructor for Emergency Medical Services. Temporary/part-time instructors are those persons employed to provide instruction during the academic year dependent on the teaching needs of the College.

Required Qualifications: Certified as an EMT or Paramedic in the State of Ohio.
Paramedic certification is preferred. Certified EMS instructor preferred. Teaching experience at a community college is desirable.
Retirement Benefits: Edison State Community College participates in the State Teachers Retirement System (STRS). Based upon the Ohio Revised Code, 14% of an Edison State employee's gross salary is deposited into their individual STRS account. The college contributes an additional 14% which is not figured into the employee's base salary. Adjunct instructors are also eligible to participate in 403 (b) tax deferred annuity which is not cost-shared by the college.
The college also provides an on-site fitness center to employees, students and the community at no charge.
