Provide clinical patient care services including diagnostics, therapeutic procedures, and management of stable and chronic illnesses at community sites. Responsibilities also include documenting findings, providing patient education, and supervising medical students.
Requires a Master's degree in Nursing or as a Physician Assistant with corresponding ANCC or NCCPA certification and D.C. licensure. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.
To perform, under the responsibility and supervision of physicians, clinical patient care services defined as data gathering, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, management of stable and chronic illnesses, and counseling at our community sites, McPherson Square and Cleveland Park. The Nurse Practitioner will be credentialed according to the medical staff regulations. They will be under the supervision of an appropriately credentialed attending physician.
