This is a long-term opportunity for a calm, confident, and naturally “zen” caregiver who thrives in a dynamic household and brings an easygoing, team-player mentality to each day. The role will begin as a four-day-per-week schedule over the summer, primarily focused on caring for one child at a time, before transitioning by the end of summer into a full-time, 45-hour-per-week position caring for both daughters, ages 6 months and 2.5 years. The family leads busy, ever-evolving schedules; Dad is a professor and Mom works from home in startup go-to-market, so they are looking for someone who can move fluidly with the rhythm of the household and confidently manage both children with ease. Their home is ideally located within walking distance to parks, classes, and activities, and they value a nanny who enjoys getting out and about while also creating a calm, grounded environment at home. Grandparents are actively involved and present at times, so the ideal candidate is someone who is collaborative, respectful, and comfortable working alongside extended family members. The right fit will be someone who is deeply calm, collected, and unflappable; someone who does not get overwhelmed easily and approaches childcare with a relaxed, child-led philosophy. The family would especially love a Russian-speaking nanny and are also open to Spanish speakers.
