Job Description

Assist with dental operatory set-up

assist chairside as needed: Duties to include; operatory set-up with supplies, paperwork/chart.

Order and maintain inventory for the Student Clinic.

Backup for Student Clinic receptionist as needed and other duties as assigned. Duties to include; answer phone, and maintain needed paperwork for patients to be seen in the clinic.

Cross coverage assisting in Grad OS/CID as needed during staffing shortages

Expected Salary

$17.00, commensurate with education and experience

Required Qualifications

High school diploma and one year of appropriate experience and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred

• Knowledge of and ability to prepare, sterilize, maintain oral surgery instruments and equipment.
• Ability to keep the oral surgery student clinic running smoothly and on a timely basis.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to independently plan, organize and perform work assignments.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, students, residents and faculty.
