The Substitute Teacher manages daily classroom activities and provides high-quality verbal engagement to promote children's growth. Responsibilities include supervising meals, bathroom breaks, and outdoor activities to ensure a safe learning environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience working directly with children. Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds is required.
This is a seasonal, summer position. We have positions available at our Franklin Area, Hasson and Cranberry locations.
The Substitute Teacher is responsible for assisting with instructing children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth and help provide an environment where children can have the opportunity to develop the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills necessary for success in their educational future.
