As an after school mentor, you will have an opportunity to work with youth in grades K-8th.
Must be over the age of 18, have a valid Florida driver's license, able to pass a level 2 background screening (https://info.flclearinghouse.com), and DOT physical (NE site only).
The YMCA provides it's team members with a stream of development opportunities, starting with your First Aid/CPR Training and Certification.
Northeast Y Staff meet monthly for paid trainings and development sessions.
Further development will be offered depending on the assigned site.
Daily job duties include leading youth in recreational games, S.T.E.A.M., and creative activities as well as homework assistance.
