Implementing the Teacher's lesson plans and maintaining daily classroom schedules Supporting each child's social, emotional and intellectual growth Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of children at all times Using a variety of instructional and assessment strategies, as directed by the teacher to meet individual student needs Assist with classroom recordkeeping duties as directed by Teacher. Report all injuries/accidents to Center Director that occur during shift. Maintain client, employee, and agency confidentiality. Assist with meal delivery service to children in accordance with Child Care Center standards. Maintaining communication with parents, staff and faculty regarding the progress of students Communicate observations to teacher Interact with children during planned activities for the day Adhere to procedures in toddler care such as potty-training, nap time, etc. Be willing to gain more knowledge, experience, and training in the field of Early Childhood Development by attending tribal, state, and national child care meetings/trainings.
