Adventure Montessori in Lafayette, CO is a licensed childcare center seeking Part- Time Summer Camp Teachers to support our summer school age program.

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED, CDA or higher, and the ability to pass all background checks.

A plus if you have previous childcare experience!

This is a full-time, seasonal position.

Required Shift: Monday - Friday, Part-Time Compensation: $19-$22, based on education and experience Our Hiring Process: Resume screen Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes) On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes) Offer Main Job Responsibilities: Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate using current curriculum guides.

Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently.

Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.

Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.

Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.

Provide additional supervision of children during field trips and off-site activities.

Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.

Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or GED and a CDA or higher certification. Candidates must be able to pass background checks and meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
