What You’ll Do Build positive relationships with families and encourage engagement in their child's growth and development Support families in identifying strengths, interests, needs, and goals through Family Partnership Agreements Connect families with community resources, services, and referrals that support self-reliance and family well-being Recruit, determine eligibility, and support enrollment, attendance, and participation of children and families Ensure required screenings, referrals, documentation, and follow-up activities are completed accurately and on time Support implementation of educational, social-emotional, prenatal, and parenting curriculums Collaborate with staff, community partners, and service providers to support positive outcomes for families Maintain confidentiality, accurate records, and mandated reporting responsibilities Participate in ongoing professional development and training Perform other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED required Degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Development, or related field preferred Three years of experience in case management and/or parent education preferred Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with young children and families from diverse backgrounds Basic computer proficiency, including word processing and data entry Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work independently Valid Class E Chauffeur's License and reliable transportation for home visits required Ability to obtain Family Development Credential (FDC) certification and maintain CPR and First Aid certification
