The Family Resource Advocate builds supportive relationships with families to promote child development and self-sufficiency. They coordinate screenings, referrals, and community services while managing enrollment and program documentation.
A high school diploma or GED is required, while a degree in Social Work or Early Childhood Education is preferred. Candidates should have experience in case management or family services and strong interpersonal skills.

What You'll Do As a Family Resource Advocate, you'll serve as a trusted partner for families by: Build strong, supportive relationships with families to promote engagement in child development and family well-being Empower families to identify strengths, set goals, and work toward self-sufficiency through Family Partnership Agreements Support children’s development by coordinating screenings, referrals, and follow-up services with community partners Recruit and enroll eligible families while supporting attendance and program participation Maintain accurate documentation, data entry, and timely communication with families and service providers Coordinating screenings, referrals, and follow-up services to meet each child's individual needs Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners while maintaining confidentiality and completing required training and mandated reporting responsibilities
What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Child & Family Development, or a related field preferred Experience in case management, family services, child development, or parent education preferred Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively with diverse families Computer proficiency, including data entry and documentation Self-motivated team player with sound judgment and a commitment to helping others succeed
