The Educator facilitates after-school and summer programs for K-8th grade youth, focusing on leadership, academic enrichment, and wellness. They are also responsible for administrative tasks including data entry in Salesforce and coordinating with community partners.
A Bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience working with diverse youth are required. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft 365 and Salesforce, and be able to pass a background check and TB clearance.
The Youth Development (YD) Educator works collaboratively with and develops strong, nurturing relationships with youth, and facilitates small and large group workshops. They manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing environment with attention to detail. They are flexible with varying schedules and activities during the week.
*This position works primarily with High School youth but is expected to support TK-8 programs and other projects as needed
Youth Development Educator Compensation: $22-26 hour DOE, Nonexempt; Full time, expected hours of work 37.5 hours per week
