Skidmore College's Athletics and Recreation Department invites applicants for a full-time, regular (10 month) M/W Swimming Assistant Coach Position. Responsibilities will include assisting the Head M/W Swimming & Diving Coach in planning, organizing, and implementing aspects of a Division III men's and women's swimming program including practice and meet preparation, on-deck coaching, team travel, recruitment of prospective student-athletes, fund raising and other duties as assigned. The position will also include serving as a physical activities course instructor and equipment room responsibilities during the academic year.
A Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, with a minimum of three years collegiate swimming coaching and/or competitive experience. Candidates should posses strong organizational skills, communication and basic computer skills. Current CPR and AED Certification.
Lifeguard Certification or willingness to obtain. WSI Certification or willingness to obtain.
Pay Rate: $36,000
