Classroom Support & Instruction Assist in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with NAEYC, FSSA, and Paths to Quality standards Provide hands-on learning experiences that support physical, emotional, and cognitive development Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture using Conscious Discipline and responsive care practices Family & Team Collaboration Partner with families to support each child’s unique needs and learning style Collaborate closely with teachers, substitutes, and center staff to maintain a consistent and supportive environment Documentation & Compliance Participate in child development assessments and communicate results with families Follow Indiana Child Care Licensing Guidelines and ensure classroom compliance with health, safety, and documentation standards Ongoing Development & Training Complete at least 20 hours of annual training related to Early Childhood Development Attend staff meetings, trainings, and participate in internal and external committees as assigned

Requirements: Preferred
Minimum of a high school diploma/GED and ability to obtain a CDA within four months of hire. At least 18 years of age. Basic language, written, and computer skills necessary for communication and documentation. Demonstrated ability to support people with disabilities. Ability to work a flexible schedule if needed. Ability to speak, hear, and read the English language. Essential physical skills – be able to run, squat, stoop/bend, kneel, climb stairs, be able to lift 50 pounds, push and pull against potential resistance; and be able to implement CPR and First Aid when needed.
