About the role

The Assistant Coach is responsible for evaluating talent, preparing for games and practices, and managing off-field conditioning. They must adhere to USM and NCAA regulations while supporting the Head Coach in all delegated duties.

The University of Southern Maine seeks applicants for a part-time, temporary Men's Lacrosse Assistant Coach on the Gorham Campus.

Core Duties

  • Evaluating talent of potential student/athletes
  • Game and practice preparation
  • Off field conditioning
  • Other duties delegated by the Head Coach.
  • Adhere to and support all rules, conditions, and regulations of USM and the NCAA.
  • Must be available for all practices and contests

Practices times vary and travel to games is also expected.

This is a part-time temporary position that will compensate up to $2,300 for the season and may vary depending on the selected candidate's availability and time commitment.

  • Ability to attend practices and the entire game schedule
