Are you looking for a job where your work truly matters, every day is different, and you get to be part of a fun and supportive community?

At College Living Experience (CLE), academic success isn't built through grades alone. It happens during study sessions, conversations with professors, time-management planning, problem-solving challenges, and the everyday moments where students learn how to navigate college with greater confidence and independence.

As an Academic Coach, you'll help neurodiverse young adults discover how they learn best and develop the skills needed to succeed in college and beyond. You'll work alongside students to strengthen executive functioning, organization, study habits, self-advocacy, and academic confidence while helping them navigate the challenges of higher education.

We are looking for someone who is patient, creative, and passionate about helping students reach their potential. Someone who enjoys mentoring, adapting their approach to different learning styles, and celebrating growth along the way. Candidates often come from backgrounds in education, tutoring, special education, academic coaching, psychology, student support services, learning assistance, or humanities instruction. We especially welcome candidates with experience teaching or tutoring writing, English, literature, history, communications, philosophy, political science, or related fields.

In this role, you'll provide individualized academic coaching and tutoring, help students develop effective study strategies, manage assignments and deadlines, communicate with professors, prepare for exams, and build the skills needed to become more independent learners. You'll collaborate closely with our social, career, and independent living teams to ensure students receive holistic support across all areas of their development. The ideal candidate believes that success looks different for every student and is excited to help neurodiverse young adults build confidence, overcome challenges, achieve their educational goals, and create a strong foundation for lifelong learning and independence.

  • Why People Love Working at CLE Working at CLE means being part of a collaborative team dedicated to helping students achieve meaningful academic and personal growth.
  • Every day is different.
  • You'll work one-on-one with students, helping them navigate college coursework, develop effective learning strategies, and overcome challenges that may be impacting their success.
