The Special Education Teacher will develop individualized instructional plans for students with varying learning abilities and collaborate with families and educators. They will modify curriculum and apply evidence-based strategies to promote academic and social-emotional growth.
Candidates must have knowledge of IDEA and IEP development, along with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field. A valid Ohio teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement or eligibility is also required.
