The instructor will develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) while providing tailored instruction to help students access the general curriculum. They are responsible for tracking student progress through data collection and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement. Knowledge of IDEA and completion of an approved Special Education teacher preparation program are required.

In this role, you will provide individualized instruction and accommodation that help students access the general education curriculum and reach their full potential. You’ll take the lead on developing and implementing IEPs, using data and progress monitoring to guide instruction and ensure student growth. Collaboration is key—working closely with general education teachers, specialists, administrators, and families to create consistency and success across learning environments.
Through thoughtful differentiation and evidence-based practices, you’ll help foster a classroom culture that supports independence, confidence, and achievement for all learners.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting. Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with student goals. Collect and analyze data to inform instructional decisions and track progress. Partner with general education staff to support inclusive classroom practices. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, evaluations, and collaborative planning. Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Valid Texas teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement. Completion of an approved Special Education teacher preparation program. Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and collaborative instructional practices.
