Elementary instructional classroom with mild behavioral disabilities Serve as a strong voice for students with exceptional learning needs. Adapt instruction to meet a wide spectrum of learning profiles, skills, and developmental levels. Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance students’ academic, social, and personal progress. Create and maintain a welcoming, equitable classroom climate where every student is respected and supported. Utilize targeted behavior strategies and supportive interventions that encourage positive conduct and emotional well-being.
Possess an active Illinois PEL with an LBS1 endorsement. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s degree preferred. Demonstrated background as a Special Education professional or comparable position. Skilled in supporting learners with a variety of disabilities and educational requirements.
