• Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned with Michigan standards and students's IEPs.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments and provide meaningful feedback.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and use assessment data to guide instruction.
• Develop, implement, and participate in IEP meetings while ensuring compliance with state and federal special education requirements Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student success.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.

Requirements

Required Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field. Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with with one or more of the following Special Education endorsements: SA, SB, SC, SE, SK, SL, SM, SP, or SV. Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education compliance Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
