The High School Guidance Counselor is responsible for providing comprehensive counseling services that promote students' academic, personal/social, and career development. The counselor serves as a student advocate while collaborating with staff, families, teachers, and administrators to create a supportive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
What You'll Do Provide individual and small-group counseling to support students' academic and career development. Assist students with academic planning, goal setting, and college and career readiness. Identify and address barriers to student success, including academic, behavioral, and attendance concerns. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, to support student achievement and well-being.
