Provides classroom, clinical, and laboratory instruction for nursing students, including content preparation and progress evaluation. Participates in the development and evaluation of the College of Nursing's educational programs.
Requires a doctorate in nursing or a related field, or a Master's degree in nursing, along with an Illinois RN license. At least two years of clinical nursing experience is required.
Provides classroom and clinical/laboratory instruction for College of Nursing students in the nursing major including preparation of content, assignments, and evaluation of student clinical and academic progress. Interacts with health team members in cooperating clinical agencies to facilitate student learning and to promote quality-nursing care for patients. Participates in the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the College of Nursing’s total educational programs. Acts as a change agent and leader to create a preferred future for nursing education and nursing practice.
