The Family Worker is a social services professional who serves as an advocate and liaison for children and families by providing guidance, support, and access to resources. This position is responsible for maintaining ongoing communication with the families of enrolled students to help ensure their needs are met, including identifying social service and health-related needs. The Family Worker also strengthens partnerships between families and teachers and collaborates with the instructional team to provide comprehensive family support. A foundational understanding of child development is required.
This position reports to the Director of the Preschool and the Community Development Corporation and works collaboratively under their guidance and direction.

This is a full-time, non-exempt salaried position. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Some early evening and weekend hours may be required.

A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field is preferred, and experience in early childhood programs is required. Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and English and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
