Facilitate student learning through the coordination and delivery of simulation and lab-based educational experiences. Collaborate with faculty to design, plan, implement, and evaluate experiential and simulation-based learning activities that align with the MSOT curriculum and program outcomes. Assist in identifying and assigning student caseloads for simulation or experiential lab activities, ensuring alignment with learning objectives. Provide timely and constructive verbal and written feedback to students on course assignments and performance in experiential and simulation activities. MSOT and current clinical experience required. Current Registered Occupational Therapist license in Michigan or eligible. Bachelor’s degree with clinical content expertise may be considered. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software quickly. Experience facilitating occupational therapy simulations or working in an academic setting is preferred, as well as program development or leadership experience. Work Schedule: Contract position; Varies greatly, up to 30 hours per week on an as-needed, inconsistent basis (similar to PRN in the clinical setting); Flexibility required relative to hours and scheduling. Supervision Received: General supervision is received from the Fieldwork Coordinator/Simulation Laboratory associate. Working Conditions: Duties are generally performed inside but include outside seasonal activities. Some weeknights and weekends, including intermittent travel, will be required.
