Discovery Kidzone is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom where toddlers can learn, explore, and grow through play-based experiences.

We are looking for a caring, dependable individual who enjoys working with young children and is eager to learn. No previous childcare experience is required—we provide training and ongoing support to help you build a successful career in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

Assist with the daily care and supervision of toddlers Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment Encourage learning through play, music, storytelling, art, and hands-on activities Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Help children build confidence, independence, and positive peer relationships Assist with daily routines, including meals, naps, toileting, and transitions Observe children's progress and share updates with families Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom goals Maintain a clean, organized, and healthy learning environment Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements

Qualifications

No previous experience required—paid training provided Genuine interest in working with toddlers and supporting early childhood development Strong communication and teamwork skills Patient, dependable, and positive attitude Ability to guide children with kindness and consistency Familiarity with classroom safety and sanitation practices is a plus CPR certification required within 30 days of hire Ability to complete all required state licensing trainings

Compensation & Benefits Compensation is based on education and experience.
