The Assistant Diving Coach is responsible for planning and implementing training and competition plans for divers. Key duties include providing instruction during practices and meets, creating practice plans, and identifying prospective student athletes.

Job summary

Reporting to the head coach, this position’s primary responsibility is to plan and implement a training and competition plan for the divers.

Essential job functions

  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
  • Provide instruction for practice and meets
  • Assist in creation of practice plans
  • Assist in execution of meet strategies
  • Identify highly qualified prospective student athletes
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Candidates should have collegiate diving experience and preferably 1-2 years of previous coaching experience. The role requires a commitment to inclusive excellence and the ability to work weekends and nights.
