Preschool Assistant Teacher

• Chesterbrook Academy is seeking a creative and passionate Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators!
• Our preschool program provides a balance of learning and play, helping children build the academic and social skills that prepare them for Pre-K and beyond.
• As a Preschool Assistant Teacher, you will support multiple classrooms and inspire curiosity, nurture confidence, and create meaningful learning experiences that make every day exciting and purposeful for young learners.
• What You’ll Do: Design and deliver engaging lessons that promote exploration, early literacy, and critical thinking.
• Encourage independence and collaboration through hands-on, play-based learning.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
• Partner with fellow teachers and school leaders to create a warm, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old and have an awarded High School Diploma or GED. Completed required 45 DCF Hours 6 months previous experience in a licensed childcare center. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a nurturing, enthusiastic personality.
