The Employment Specialist helps individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing secure and maintain competitive employment through job coaching and personalized employment plans. They are also responsible for building employer networks and providing on-the-job training and support.
Candidates must be fluent in ASL and possess a valid driver's license. Education requirements vary from a high school diploma with three years of experience to a bachelor's degree with one year of experience.
Expertise in hearing loss and workplace needs, with skills in addressing business requirements and evaluating job performance.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, adaptable training approach, and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word). This role requires driving as an essential function. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be subject to post-offer verification of driving eligibility consistent with company insurance requirements.
