• Shift: Full-time and part-time availability! Join our vibrant team at the YMCA of Custer and embark on a rewarding journey as a Childcare Assistant Teacher in our preschool classroom. This includes implementing and adhering to YMCA safety procedures, as well as state and local codes, to create a secure environment where children can learn and grow with confidence. Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment is essential to creating a positive learning experience for children. As a Childcare Assistant Teacher, you'll take pride in ensuring that our childcare spaces are well-maintained and properly equipped with everything needed for a successful day of learning and exploration. As a Childcare Assistant Teacher, you'll play an active role in implementing these principles in your daily interactions with children, helping them develop the social and emotional skills they need to succeed in school and in life. In addition to your daily responsibilities, you'll also be responsible for completing opening and closing procedures as required, as well as accurately documenting any incidents or accidents that occur during your shift.
