Market context
In New York, social worker openings in healthcare settings are often driven by patient discharge planning, behavioral health needs, and coordination across care teams. This role is competitive because an MSW is required, New York State licensure must be obtained within eighteen months, and prior medical and supervisory experience are preferred. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this platform to quickly confirm fit, then prepare examples of clinical collaboration and licensure progress before applying.
