Early Childhood Classroom Assistant Float

As an Early Childhood Classroom Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting classroom teaching staff with facilitating and guiding activities for infant/toddler classrooms or preschool classrooms, including maintaining a safe, neat, organized learning environment that is welcoming, nurturing, and high functioning.

Requirements

• Minimum HS Diploma
• Must have or commit to enroll in a CDA credential program to be completed in no less than two years from hire, or must be enrolled in a program for an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (tuition assistance is available)
• Must be EEC Infant/Toddler or Preschool Teacher certified or have a pending application for teaching certification
• Knowledge and experience in early childhood education & developmentally appropriate practices
• Must be able to work successfully in a team setting while remaining flexible to change with a positive approach

Salary Range

between $17.90 - $24.15/hr. dependent on education and experience

13 paid holidays per year; Paid personal, vacation, and sick time

Monday-Friday; 40 hours per week; 52 weeks per year

Must be available to work a shift between the hours of 7: 30 am and 5:30 pm
