Incarnation Catholic Church Preschool is seeking a joyful, nurturing, and faith-filled Part-Time Teaching Assistant to support our Four-Year-Old Preschool classroom. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, enjoys working as part of a collaborative teaching team, and is committed to fostering the spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young children in a Catholic learning environment. This position is part-time, working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred. Coursework or experience in Early Childhood Education is a plus. Demonstrates patience, flexibility, creativity, and a genuine love for young children. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Must successfully complete all required background screening and Safe Environment training through the Catholic Diocese of Memphis. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to sit on the floor, bend, kneel, stoop, and actively engage with young children throughout the day. Ability to supervise children indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Schedule Part-Time Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
