Ohio schools often rely on substitute teachers to cover daily absences, so demand can stay steady across districts, especially when staffing is tight. These roles are competitive because districts look for candidates who already meet licensure and background-check requirements, and the AI-summarized job requirements and benefits on this platform help you review the original posting faster. Before applying, confirm your Ohio licensure status, BCI/FBI clearance, and whether the district prefers a bachelor’s degree in Education.
