Job summary

The Department of Nursing invites applications for adjunct faculty positions for courses in the undergraduate pre-licensure track and the RN to BSN program track. Courses are available for a variety of topics within nursing. Many courses are co-taught with full-time faculty. Applicants should indicate their educational background and clinical expertise, as well as their availability.

Minimum qualificaitons

  • Current unencumbered Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing, and clinical experience.

Scheduled weekly hours vary depending on class contract load. Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis.

1 among public universities in the U.S. (2018-2025).

SVSU fields 20 varsity sports at the NCAA Division II level.

Requirements

Must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing and a current unencumbered Michigan licensure as a Registered Nurse. Clinical experience is required.
