The Preschool Aide supports teachers and supervisors in maintaining a positive, inclusive atmosphere for youth and their families. They are responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate developmental activities.
Candidates must be registered through the DHS Hawaii Early Childhood Registry and hold CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and completion of Child Abuse Prevention training is mandatory.
